Questions and answers of the customers

  1. A I think it would. Is the snap on black or red & black?
  2. A I just tried it and it does!
  3. A Strap is fully adjustable. Will go from very small (20") to about (48"). Will fit just about anyone.
  4. A I have used mine with Wahoo as well. As long as the staple points are the same distance apart, it will work for you.
  5. A La que yo recibí si es original Garmin.
  6. A Creo que si, lo que hace la diferencia es el transmisor.
  7. A By itself it does nothing. It requires the Garmin HR Monitor Module that snaps on. Therefore, if you have the Garmin HR Monitor module, which works perfectly with the Edge 500, then this strap will then, by extension, be compatible with the Edge 500.
  8. A Es solo la correa en dónde va el monitor
  9. A It looks and feels original, but the word original is a relative term. Most if not all Garmin equipment is manufactured overseas. So you tell me what is original. The strap works for me I have no issues and continue to use it today.
  10. A If you have the chest sensor for the edge 500, this attachment is compatible.
  11. A Yo compré una y tiene un ajuste para agrandarla o hacerla más pequeña según la necesidad de cada uno
  12. A The heart rate monitor doesn't "listen" for the sound of your heart beat. The strap has two areas that measure the heart rate by measuring the bio-electric impulse that naturally occurs when your heart beats. The strap itself is the measuring device, and the pod you snap on collects the impulse and transmits it to a receiver. The monitor begins its job as soon as the buttons are snapped in. When you wet the pads on the strap, it helps conduct the electrical impulses from your chest.
  13. A No.This is not a heart rate monitor. It is a replacement strap for a heart rate monitor. It is the electronics module, which is not included, that is compatible with the FR 220.
  14. A I'd advise against it. In Q & A for the heart rate monitor which uses the same strap, some said this strap will slip out of place during push offs. The strap with the HRM swim is designed to stay in place, even when pushing off.
  15. A It is the electronics module, not the strap, that will be compatible or incompatible with another device. This strap does NOT include the electronics module! It is a replacement strap for someone who has a working electronics module.
  16. A Yes. It appears to be the same strap that comes with the HRM3-SS.
  17. A The sizing guide gives a minimum size of 25.2 inches. https://support.garmin.com/faqSearch/en-US/faq/content/VyGwscI5yw07KGB4Bz74EATo be useful, an electronics module needs to be snapped to this strap. An alternative to this strap is a sports bra with HRM electrodes with snaps that match the electronics module.
  18. A Not by itself. It is the electronics module that will be incompatible or compatible with another device. This strap does NOT include the electronics module! It is a replacement strap for someone who has a working module.
  19. A Yes. Will work with 500 or 800 series.
  20. A I think all of them are. You must have the transmitter or buy one. This is only the strap.
  21. A This is only the strap, but it should work with the 620 hrm unit. Check https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/15490#devices
  22. A Not by itself. This is just a strap; it lacks electronics. It is a replacement strap for someone who has a working electronics module. It is the electronics module that will make it compatible with other devices.
  23. A I can't answer the Brazil part of your question. I'm not sure what you are asking in your first question. This is a chest strap. It has electrodes, but no electronics. To be useful, an electronics/*transmitter* pod must be snapped to the strap. The transmitter needs to be compatible with your Garmin Forerunner 620. Again, the transmitter isn't included.
  24. A No!This is only the chest strap. It has no electronics. To be useful, it needs an electronics / transmitter pod. This product is for those who have a working pod, but need a replacement strap.
  25. A No.This is a strap only. It has no electronics. To work, an electronics/transmitter pod (not included) needs to be connected to this strap. It is the pod that would be compatible or not compatible with the 910XT.
  26. A Garmin redesigned the strap, but the electronics pod is the same for both the old design and the new design.Hopefully, the new strap will be more durable and reliable than the old.
  27. A No. THIS IS NOT A HEART RATE MONITOR.Pardon my shouting, but I want to clear up or prevent some confusion. This is a replacement strap for a heart rate monitor. It has a pair of snaps that are used to connect an electronics pod for a heart rate monitor. The two work together: strap + pod = heart rate monitor. This product does not come with the pod.
  28. A No.This is a replacement strap for those who have a compatible electronics/sensor/transmitter pod. Without that pod, this strap will do nothing. To reiterate, it is the transmitter that would make this compatible with a Vivoactive HR or other device that can display heart rate.
  29. A No. It is just a replacement strap. It works with the transmitter that came with your watch or was purchased previously. The snaps are there, not the transmitter.
  30. A The strap by itself is not. You need the transmitter module to be ANT+ compatible.
  31. A The strap can be fastened without pulling it overhead. It contains a 'clip' that is inserted into a small loop. The buckle is protected from rubbing against your skin with a small flap.
  32. A No, it is just a replacement soft strap for heart rate monitor
  33. A This is just the the strap for use with the Garmin Premium HRM Transmitters and the HRM-Run Transmitters (HRM Transmitter not included)Regards!
  34. A The soft strap version of the heart rate monitor is compatible with the vivo fitness bands. They are all ANT+ and work fine.
  35. A I just bought this Polar Strap at http://www.amazon.com/Polar-Soft-Strap-Medium-XX-Large/dp/B007XCLU66/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1429118769&sr=8-1&keywords=polar+heart+rate+monitor+strap to replace this Garmin Strap which I bought in February, 2014 from Amazon here.I snapped the Transmitter Module off the Garmin Strap and tried to snap it onto this Polar Strap but the snaps would not keep the Garmin Transmitter Module in place on the Polar Strap. The distance between the snaps are correct between the Transmitter Module and the Polar Strap but the snaps instantly release the Transmitter Module.
  36. A Yes, it will. To be fair, this strap is a better strap than the 2 first design straps that I owned. But it isn't as comfortable. The area where they added the different type material on the back side just irritates me somewhat. It itches or scratches me a bit wearing it. It may not do that to everyone, and it isn't always noticeable, but occasionally it does bother me. I have since purchased a polar replacement strap which also works with the garmin HRM sensors, and it has been much more reliable and comfortable. I can't say that this strap went bad though, as I did replace the battery in the HRM before installing it on the polar strap, and that could have been all that was wrong this time, unlike the 2 first design garmin straps that went bad.
  37. A I find that the replacement strap to be more comfortable. I've had the replacement for over 2 years and have not had any issues with erratic HR readings, unlike the original that seemed to become more erratic after about 18 months. Another difference is the is a rubber coating on the back of the the strap is more substantial. That may account for the less erratic readings.
  38. A Hi.I cannot confirm it will work with Garmin 620, but I undrestand that the sof strap andthe HR monitor for sof strap are standard and should work with any Garmin devioce. I replace the straps regularly since once they wear out in excess they produce erratic reading. I would aslos suggest to checj the battery of the HR sensor, since once the battery dains it produces erratic readings until it the battery finaly dies.
