Questions and answers of the customers

  1. A Hi, the Polar H10 Sensor has three frequencies Bluetooth, ANT+ and a 5 Khz Coded frequency. If your watch/device supports either of these three frequencies the Polar H10 Sensor will work but compatibility is up to the manufacturer. I would contact FitBit & Samsung and ask them if your model supports 3rd party sensors.
  2. A Hi Mandy, the both the Polar H10 and Polar H9 Sensors take a CR2025 battery. Please remember to disconnect the sensor from your Pro Strap after each session and rinse your strap, please follow these care instructions after each session: https://support.polar.com/e_manuals/H10_HR_sensor/Polar_H10_user_manual_English/Content/Caring-for-your-heart-rate-sensor.htm
  3. A Hi, if your machine accepts Bluetooth, ANT+ or a 5 Khz Coded frequency the Polar H9 Sensor will work. If your machine requires a 5 Khz Non-Coded (uncoded) frequency you would need the Polar T34 Transmitter.
  4. A Hi, you can use the Polar H10 with many HRV/RR apps like Elite HRV or Kubios. The Polar Beat and Polar Flow apps are training apps, Elite HRV and Kubios are monitoring apps you can use to track HRV data.
  5. A Hi, I would recommend contacting our Customer Care Team for further support with this question. Please visit the main Polar website and click on the Contact Us link to submit your question to our Care Team, they will be able to provide the best solution for you and your doctor.
  6. A Hi, yes it is possible to measure your HRV/RR data using the Polar H10. The two app/services we recommend are Elite HRV and Kubios as they are compatible with our sensors. If you plan on using another app please reach out to their Support Team to see if their app supports Polar Sensors.
  7. A Hi Sophie, the Polar H10 Sensor is a Bluetooth compatible sensor however it would be up to Peloton if their app accepts 3rd party sensors. The Polar H10 is compatible with their machines but I would contact them and ask them for a list of 3rd party sensors if you want to be able to also connect to their app.
  8. A Hi Alina, looking at the Strava Support page for heart rate monitors they mention that their app is compatible with BLE heart rate monitors and the Polar H10 and Polar H9 are both BLE compatible.
  9. A Hi David, we are sorry to hear about this issue you are experiencing. Can you please wash the Pro Strap before your next session to remove any excess dye. You can rinse the Pro Strap in cool water under the sink or place the strap in a garment bag and place in the washing machine on a gentle cycle using a mild detergent with no fabric softener and hang the strap up to dry. Please do not place the Pro Strap in to the dryer as this will harm the strap and cause the sensor to malfunction. If this issue continues please reach out to Polar Customer Support, our contact information can be found directly on the Polar website.
  10. A Hi, it is very important to remove the H10 from the Pro Strap when not in use. Some users leave the sensor attached to the strap all the time which can lead to inaccurate readings.
  11. A Hi, the shape of the H10 is very similar to the H7, the size of the sensor itself is 34x65x10 mm. The length of the chest straps are also very similar, the M-XXL Pro Strap fits chest sizes 26-51 inches.
  12. A My chest size is a (men's) 54, and it just fits me and is tight (which is fine because it does not move). My guess is that it limits out at 56 or 58 inches.
  13. A Hi, if you are planning on using the H10 with the Polar Beat application on your smartphone you will receive calories burned. You will see your current heart rate, duration, calories, heart rate zones, fit vs fat zones and average heart rate. For more information on Polar Beat please visit our Support page at polar.com.
  14. A Hi, the Polar H10 has 3 frequencies, Bluetooth, ANT+ and 5 Khz Coded (Gymlink). If Garmin is compatible with one of these 3 frequencies the H10 Sensor should work but please reach out to Garmin and ask them if their watch accepts 3rd party sensors like the Polar H10 as Garmin would need to allow the use of 3rd party sensors with their products.
  15. A Hi, the Polar H10 Sensor has 3 frequencies, Bluetooth, ANT+ and 5 Khz Coded (Gymlink). Please confirm with Garmin if their watch and app allows 3rd party sensors like the Polar H10 Sensor.
  16. A Hi, the Polar H10 Sensor has 3 frequencies, Bluetooth, ANT+ and 5 Khz Coded (Gymlink). Many devices use one of these 3 frequencies to communicate to the H10 however it is up to manufacturer if this product will interact with their products and software so please reach out to Garmin and ask them if their watches and app accepts 3rd party sensors like the Polar H10 Sensor.
  17. A Hi, yes the Polar H10 Heart Rate Monitor is compatible with the Polar A370 watch.
  18. A If you have a smart phone it gives you your heart rate all throughout your work, plus your min and max at the end of the workout. Yes you can see your recovery heart rate both in training and at the completion of training via the app on your phone.
  19. A I am about 32-34 inches across where I wear it and I have it on the tightest option and it fits fine.
  20. A Not only will the H10 transmit heart rate data to a fitness app running on a compatible mobile phone, but there is a chance that the display of the treadmill may pick up the heart rate information simultaneously as well. - Mike<>PolarUSA
  21. A The Polar H10 not only works with 3rd party fitness applications, but with its secondary 5 kHz coded frequency will also work with compatible exercise equipment found either at home or your fitness club. - Mike<>@PolarUSA
  22. A The Polar H10 works with the 2nd generation version of the touch screen displays. We would recommend reaching out to Peloton directly for troubleshooting help. - Mike@PolarUSA
  23. A Not only would the FT7 automatically receive the HR data from the H10, it would also simultaneously transmit via Bluetooth (making it compatible with with fitness apps running on your mobile device). - Mike@PolarUSA
  24. A No. This is a pretty bare bones monitor with no on board interface capabilities. It is more store and forward if you are using it without a phone or watch in that it would store workout data then would forward to the connected device once it was connected. Any real-time updates would come from phone or watch which act as the interface. The polar app does a nice job of providing updates for HR changes but, of course, you would need to have a phone or smartwatch to get them during workouts.
